1. About us
HR in-Hours Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16807892), providing HR consultancy services to small and medium-sized businesses. Our registered address is in Brighton, East Sussex. You can contact us at Hr-in-hours@outlook.com or 07506 104831.
2. Our services
We provide HR consultancy services including but not limited to: HR audits, employment contracts, staff handbooks, HR retainer packages, employment law advice, and training. The scope of services will be agreed in writing before work commences.
3. Fees and payment
All fees are agreed in advance and confirmed in writing. Invoices are payable within 30 days of issue unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to suspend services if invoices remain unpaid beyond 30 days. The HR Audit fee is payable before work begins. Monthly retainer fees are invoiced at the start of each month.
4. Cancellation & refund policy
Bespoke documents (handbooks, audits, contracts): Due to the bespoke and time-intensive nature of our work, payments for one-off services are non-refundable once work has commenced. Work is deemed to have commenced upon our first communication with you following payment or agreement to proceed.
Before work commences: If you cancel before we have begun work, we will offer a full refund minus any administration costs incurred (maximum £25).
Monthly retainer agreements: Require 30 days written notice to cancel sent to Hr-in-hours@outlook.com. Fees already paid for the current month are non-refundable. No further fees will be charged after the notice period ends.
Delivery timeframes: We aim to deliver bespoke handbooks within 7-10 working days. If we are unable to deliver within a reasonable timeframe due to circumstances within our control, we will discuss options with you including a partial refund.
Revisions: One round of revisions is included in all handbook packages. Additional revisions are charged at £120 per hour.
Disputes: If you are unhappy with our work please contact us at Hr-in-hours@outlook.com in the first instance — we will always try to resolve any issues fairly and promptly.
We reserve the right to cancel services with immediate effect if a client acts unlawfully or in breach of these terms, in which case no refund will be due.
5. Confidentiality
We treat all client information as strictly confidential. We will not share your business information or employee data with any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law. Clients are asked not to share confidential information through our website contact forms — a secure channel will be provided once an engagement begins.
6. Limitation of liability
HR in-Hours Ltd provides advice based on current UK employment law and best practice. We are not a law firm and our advice does not constitute legal advice. We recommend clients seek independent legal advice for complex matters. Our total liability to any client shall not exceed the fees paid in the preceding three months.
7. Intellectual property
All documents, handbooks, policies and materials created by HR in-Hours Ltd remain our intellectual property until full payment has been received, at which point ownership transfers to the client. Materials may not be resold or shared with third parties without our written consent.
8. Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details of how we collect, use and protect your data.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
